Having a little extra length on your lead can help with teaching and practising loose lead walking and recall.

Curly coated and fluffy dogs can get matted fur from having padded harness rub against their fur. This harness helps to prevent this, whilst still having a useful front clip and being super adjustable.

Available in both small and large options (both the same length - just the thickness changes) this lead can be adjusted to three different lengths (so you can give your dog more space) or attached to a belt. It can also be used with the front clip on a harness to reduce pulling.

When teaching grooming and handling exercises in class, we often use a target bowl for the treats to allow us to direct the dog's attention. Silicone slow feeders are ideal.

Fur enhanced short tugs, perfect for putting in your pocket to use as recall rewards. Remember not to leave them out for everyday play. Tug toys should be reserved for human-dog play only.

For larger dogs or adult dogs, we recommend waterproof longlines for training outdoors. This is a great value option. For smaller dogs, the puppy longline above is much lighter.

These pate chubs are great quality and good value and a favourite in our house. The meaty treat can be cut up into an appropriate size for your dog (the smaller the better) and is easy for your dog to take and eat quickly. Plus no nasties included!

Lindsey's biothane leads, both standard and double-ended training leads are available from Walkie Mountains along with matching collars and longlines.

Inexpensive padded harness with plenty of adjustment for a good fit. Features a front clip for managing pulling and a handle for close control. Neck clip version available for dogs who don't like things over their heads.

Always popular in classes where we use toys, the poppin is a pocket sized fetch and tug toy perfect for puppies and small mouths. It is soft and appealing, whilst still being fun and easy to use.

Lick mats are a great way to calm dogs or to help with grooming. These ones are our favourite, with suction cups, a cleaning brush and a useful spatula included. Try using with mashed banana, meaty baby food, dog pate, liver paste or wet dog food.

Lindsey's dogs wear Dog Copenhagen Comfort Walk Air harnesses usually as they are comfortable, well fitting and feature a neck clip so they don't have to go over the head (spaniel ears are big).
